too everyone who says i should have taught them earlier or that just because they're small i didnt think they needed to be trained need to **** off. my dogs are very well trained. one dog is still a puppy and she is very well trained for her age. this was NEVER a problem before. im asking for help not critizism. and only one of you know it all assholes told me what to do about it anyway and even that wasnt a good answer. i suggest if you dont know the answer to a question dont try and answer it.

Maybe try putting a bell on their collar.

You should consider taking them to obedience classes. A lot of people think that because they're small and cute, they don't need any training, but they need just as much as a Great Dane. You should have taught the dogs not to get in your way when they were puppies. Now, they don't think anything is wrong, and they know that by doing it, they will get attention.
So, work on disciplining the dogs, don't baby them, don't give them any nice attention when they're doing something bad, don't pick them up when they're in your way, because to them that's a reward.

use LEASHES,
and reward the dogs with warm praise for being out-of-the-path.
they should have learnt this before, but better NOW than never! LOL...
when U can't have both hands,
use an umbilical cord (leash on U, clip to dog);
umbilical one dog,
and TETHER the other within eyeshot
( a short cable-tie to a solid object, like the foot of a hefty sofa,
or a block of 2 X 4 on the far-side of a closed-door,
with the vinyl-coated cable slipped UNDER the gap of the door at the floor).
U can also train the dogs to target on Ur hands, and direct them UP onto a small bench, or onto a bed, mat, etc, to keep them in sight but out from underfoot.
TARGETING is a simple skill,
and the best way to see and learn to train it is on YouTube;
look for anything by Karen Pryor or 'lovecanines', both of whom have posted many clips on clicker-training.
'target' is used by disabled-handlers to train their own SDs,
so it's very effective, very fast, and very positive!

As with all dog behaviors they can be modified. But, you have to know how. You learn that from dog obedience classes. They teach you about dog behavior, how to socialize, and how to teach. If you constantly avoid the dogs then you have taught them that it is OK to be under foot.

If hte dogs are running under your feet, you need to (gently) kick them out of the way. It has to be a kick, not a nudge; or they won't learn. And they need to recognize, by your demeanor, that they are wrong.

Should have taught them that from the beginning.. It's just like anything else.. You show them what you want them to do, show them what you don't want to do, and correct bad behaviour and reward good behaviour.
If that fails, then walk slower..

crate them
It really isn't worth getting hurt over. After you are able to "see" around your tummy again, you can let them run free again.
