I really dislike this show. I didn't even see it for very long, but I was bored out of my mind. I didn't understand it, plus I think there was a lot of miscasting. Sorry. There's my honest opinion of this show.

It was created by (and first 2 episodes written by) Kevin Williamson, who gained fame when he wrote the screenplays to 'Scream', 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' and other simular movies. Last week, when the 3rd episode ended, I finally felt the show 'may' get interesting but it was slow getting there. I'm giving it one more chance to hook me this week and then I'll decide on signing the petition or not. If the show is going to be centered around the 'suicide/murder?' plot then the show should be more exciting than it has been (up until end of last episode). If they cancel another show though, they should just admit that 'series' don't work anymore and just start having 8 part mini-series and calling it what it is and to spare us from involving ourselves in these characters with false hopes of resolution. Whoa! I can't believe I just said that! ;-)

Hidden Palms....2007's answer to the OC. First season has potentially decent writing and so far overall okay acting. (C'mon Gail O'Grady is underused and Sharon Laurence is wasted!) However...the fear that the writing will degenerate as the OC did to the level of absolute drivel is strong. At this stage...cancel or renew, won't lose sleep over it.

I love this show, and I hope and pray that it is saved, though things aren't looking good.
