Now ask yourself, why hasn't God who's all-powerful, all-knowing solve these problems? (Answers such as "it's God's way" will not be accepted. Let's put on our thinking caps people and not go for the easy cop-out).

My puny brain could only come up with this analogy from the Matrix. Can you guys do any better?

Agent Smith: "Did you know that the first Matrix was designed to be a perfect human world? Where none suffered, where everyone would be happy. It was a disaster. No one would accept the program. Entire crops were lost. Some believed we lacked the programming language to describe your perfect world. But I believe that, as a species, human beings define their reality through suffering and misery. The perfect world was a dream that your primitive cerebrum kept trying to wake up from. Which is why the Matrix was redesigned to this: the peak of your civilization."

It is a human responsibility to see to human needs. Deity does not, and never will, have anything to do with it. Until the basic discrepancy between the 'haves' and 'have nots' are addressed and taken care of, there will always be hunger, poverty, disease, and violence in our world. We have the means to feed every living person on this planet a good meal...but that would make us equal and those with money and power don't want their privileges given away. World Leaders are beholden to their money people (which in many cases are the CEO's of corporations who make money off the fact that not everyone is equal). Until elections are conducted without special interests being involved, nothing will ever change...

a) First, I'd make myself readily apparent, thus ending Atheism and worship of "false gods."
b) I'd tell people whether or not I'd sent a Messiah, and whether or not it was Jesus of Nazareth born in Bethlehem, thus ending the questions between Christianity and Judaism.
c) I'd tell people whether or not Mohammed was my prophet, thus ending the questions between Islam and everyone else. If Mohammed was my prophet, I'd further throw in in favor of the Shi-ites or the Sunnis.

I think I’d call for a free-will time out for the day. Everybody would have to act like puppets on a string. Then perhaps the truth would begin to sink in

I think if I had godlike powers for a day I would go off somewhere and hide. Make myself go into a dreamless sleep state for the duration.

If I became "God", I'll probably understand why these "issues" haven't been solved yet. And because I'll understand, I probably won't solve them either. If they were ever meant to be solved then they have to have been solved by now. And of course you can't "design" a perfect human world, it has to come by itself. Of course no one will be happy even though it's "perfect".

i would take form on earth. and by my own hand and mind write holy text's that man would find himself incapable of changeing, or re-writeing without exact wording.

then i would lay down laws of peacful religion. and make it clear to people what is right and wrong.

men will fight wars and do horrible things. but would find themselves unable to ust the mane of ME(god) to do these acts. the faithful would be given insight as to whom a charlitan was and would find that they would be able to see a deciever amongst their ranks.

the first law would be

KEEP YOUR MONEY. i dont need it. and my priest's do not need to be rich.

I would not change a thing.

Furthermore, we are God...the world is the way it is because we want it this way.

If we really wanted it differently, it would change.
