I am amazed how we see, hear, touch, feel, think (not just react). The one cell creatures react and produce offspring just exactly like themselves unless they are attacked by a disease. I agree there is a bit of evolution to them (or is it a changeability that's already programmed into their being). What is great is that from a one cell creature that at best can only react to its environment can reproduce (how did it decide it needed to reproduce it's not like a random occurrance of a creature can think of these things). But it evolved into a creature that has sight. How did this brainless creature figure out that these photons can be caught on to specialized sensors and carried by neurons to a totally inadequate computer to be process such that it can see its surrounding. I guess I can go on with touching/feel, hear but thinking is beyond the others. I can see how a cell getting close to food would note that it is food and begin to consume. But that a brainless cell could think that he is under nourished and must seek our food or it will die. I am not talking about how a positive charge is drawn to a negative charge. The cell has to first figure out that the pain it feels is hunger and that it can be satisfied from feasting.
The flower says that if I bloom a pretty blossom and provide a tasty treat, the insects will come and help me reproduce. Where does that thought come from?
By the way, where did this desire to live come from. Why would a single alone cell think there is any benefit from living forever or having ofspring forever. And who told it it was alive.

I am curious why atheists, agnostics, evolutionists, and heresies haunt around the religion category, or why they bother answering the religious questions. It seems they are curious... I think not believing in a higher power is a sort of defense mechanism, and also maybe it's a phase in their personal evolutionary progress.
However - careful of judgements and labels, I would caution.
