Sometimes it hard because you speak automatically, so it's hard to just NOT say anything while she's drving because it just blurts out of your mouth without you having given it much thought. Back seat drivers are annoying though, and it's a good way to get your girlfriend ticked off at you. If you want to change your behavior then you'll be aware of it and over time it'll get better. Just make sure your girlfriend knows that you don't in any way thinks she's a bad driver, it's just a habit of yours that you're trying to break.

Well guys do have a tendency to think they can do things better than females, but to keep you from not being a back seat driver you should just chill out while driving with her; listen to some music, talk about things not driving related, that kind of thing. If that doesn't work, duct tape works.

Look out the window and make a conscious decision to not say anything about her driving. You'll still get where you're going.

just relax and let her drive. play with the radio or look out your side window. talk about something other than her driving. Just try not to watch the road and don't pay attention to every mistake she makes. I'm sure you will be alright!

Just recite how much you love her in your head. Then try to distract yourself. Don't look out the windsheild, just the side windows, at things passing by. "Oh look, there's that new sports store that just went up." Also, try to be understanding. Unless she is actually in the middle of getting you completely lost or killed, just let it slide and let her have some freedom and room to grow and learn. (lol. duct tape over mouth? essential! duh!)

Hand him a map and ask them to plot the best possible route between any two points. That should keep him busy for the duration.

Stop driving with her she is probably not too good if you have to keep piping up, unless you have trust issues. I would choose another person to drive.
