Cocoa butter may help prevent stretch marks while the skin is stretching (like during pregancy) but it cannot erase it once the damage is done. Plus, it isn't the actual cocoa butter that is minimizing the scarring, its the act of massaging the skin in circular motions that is doing it. That's why after a person gets a scar a dr will recommend massaging the scar in circular motions to make it smoother.
Stretch marks are scars and simply rubbing an over the counter cream after the skin is scarred will not be your magic bullet.
You need to speak to a dermatologist about this. There are treatments depending on the severity on your scarring and also on your skin type. You can eliminate them by dermabrasion, chemical peels, or laser surgery. But its not cheap!
Here is info on the procedures:

Also, remember that to you it may seem worse than it does to other people. And everyone has stretch marks, even men. So don't freak out about them. Its all a part of life. If anything perhaps you could use dermablend makeup to cover it up. Its makeup especially made to cover scars. Plus, it won't come off in the water and they have makeups for the body:

NEW NOTE: THAT PERSON ABOVE ME IS LYING! Stretch marks do not spread all over your body! She is probably trying to sell her product so just ignore her!

Many many men and women of all ages have some stretch marks. There are lotions you can buy to fade them over time. And it takes a LONG time. You can get laser treatment to remove them if you're willing to spend the money. Anyways nearly everyone has stretch marks. I have stretch marks. and I wear a bikini and I rock it. No ones going to care about your stretch marks if you don't. If anyone does say anything tell to go f*ck themselves. You are beautiful and f*ck anyone who tells you differently.

Ok first of all stretch marks "happen to men and women, fat and thin, young and old."
Stretch marks usually don't fade on their own, instead, they tend to worsen and expand over time. If they expand, they can literally cover your whole body. Don't panic though, there is a way to get rid of them. Want to know the cure?

Sit up straight. Usually they come when you slouch on your computer chair or when sitting down watching TV or something. I myself am not fat but I get them too but they go away after a while. If you sitting slouched in one position, there will bound to be stretch marks.
Guys will look elsewhere if you are by the pool in your bathing suit anyway.
