The angels no longer have free will

We know a few things:
1. They made a choice when Satan and 1/3 of the angels rebelled.
2. Jesus did not die for the sins of the angels, so those who rebelled are lost forever.
3. When we get to heaven we will still have a free will but not a sin nature, so we will never sin there. Perhaps the angels are something like that now.

Absolutely- they are perfect spirit creatures who must decide for themselves if they wish to serve God or not- look at Satan, who started out as an angel, and the angels who came to the Earth before the flood of Noah to marry the daughters of man. They obviously became what are now known as demons.

Demonic influence is all around us- the demons have people believing in immortal souls, ghosts, poltergeists, etc. Not to mention the horrible things some people do- do you honestly expect me to believe that people like the BTK killer, or Adolf Hitler, or any of the other countless murderers and tyrants that commit mass genocide DON'T have something directing them? True, they make their own decisions, but demons are powerful and can exert a tangible influence on imperfect humans.

You ask an excellent question, but I don't appreciate the condescension that is tangible from your second sentence. You may think it is a "myth", but for those of us who don't and are capable of articulating WHY deserve at the very least a modicum of respect and dignity.

Why God would create Satan even though He knew he would fall and rebel?

It was necessary to have the fall so that God could then have a reason to die for our sins thereby demonstrating that God can and does provide the greatest act of love which is to lay ones life down for his friend (John 15:13).
The fall of Satan provides yet another method for God to be glorified in that God can use sin to prove that sin is "bad" and that God's word about righteousness is true.
If God is to have creatures with free will, then the risk of rebellion is part of that freedom. Satan had that freedom and used it to rebel.
If God had not created Satan and instead another angel fell, then we'd be asking why God made that angel knowing he would fall.
God has reasons that we simply do not know about.
I know my children will act badly at times, but knowing that does not mean mean that I shouldn’t have kids. Part of the risk of freedom is that rebellion will be a reality.

I would suspect they have to, else Lucifer would not have been able to exercise his own free will.

What makes you think angels would rebel by excercising their free will? Maybe they really enjoy being where they are and doing what they do.

The rebellious angels are with Satan. If their were more after the fall of man, I can only assume that God allowed them to follow Satan as well...just as He allows us to make that choice if we wish.

Witness the world around you. Do you honestly believe that mankind alone created all this havoc?

As far as I know, none have ever claimed that they did not have free will, otherwise, as you said, how could they have rebelled and so many chosen to follow the rebellion? Not that I blame them, honestly. Would you want to bow down to lesser beings just because they were your father's favorite?

They were told essentially to bow to humans, creatures of dust, while those who rebelled, creatures of fire (angels), believed that they were better than lowly humans.

St Augustine stated that Angels had unfastened will yet that being suitable creatures they desperate in an instantaneous whether or no longer they could serve God. In that experience an Angel won't replace. people who serve God, chosen to yet will continually do in simple terms His will. people who chosen to no longer serve God will in no way replace their techniques.

Yes! They do. That is the reason a third of them fell with Satan in the heavenly war.

there is no such thing as satan, just a myth spread and imprinted into the minds of many.
