Depends.
If my friend was coming out of the bathroom and his fly was undone id tell him.
But if a guy was walking down the street with his fly undone i wouldnt cause he'd think im a freak who was staring at his crotch.

YES!!!!! and I have alerted someone before. Not cool to let someone walk around a mess and you know about it. I was at my doctors office once, and while I was waiting, his assistant walked right up to me and said hello. She even made small talk for a few minutes, it was a "Full house". Later I found a hair roller right in the front of my forehead. She never said a word. Smiled right in my face and acted like another Monday.
I was really angry when I reached up and found the roller in my hair. Girls, you know, it's the one right in front that needs a little more time to set before you leave the house.

If I were at least a friendly acquaintance of this person, yes. But if I wasn't too familiar, I would just Ignore it and try not to stare. If it were a *friend*, I would maybe mock a little. lol. Ie:
Barn door's open!
XYZ PDQ!
Fly's down!
Need some help with that?
etc. lol

absolutely. the trick is to let him know without embarassing him. whisper or signal to him so that everyone around doesnt notice. i think it is always a little embarrasing when someone tells you your fly is undone or that you have something in your teeth. but overal i think we all apreciate knowing rather than looking like a jerk all day!!!

Think of it this way if your fly was down or a button on your blouse wouldn't you want someone to tell you in a nice way without making fun of you?

I would tell the person. However, if it was a nice person, or a stranger I would be discreet. If it was somebody I didn't like, I would still tell them. But I'd make sure to point and announce it real loud!

You should tell him, this is polite. I do not think anybody would mind if you tell him. He will thank you from his heart, as you avoided him from more embarrassment. You should not be ashamed to tell him. He might make a joke to avoid embarrassment. That is OK.

Absolutely. Don't leave it up to him to try to determine when and how long and how many people knew before he did. It shows you care.
If you don't care, stand a little behind him and point it out to everyone who comes by.

I HATE WHEN I GET IN FRONT OF A MIRROR JUST TO FIND OUT MOST OF MY MAKEUP IS HALFWAY DOWN MY CHECK AND IT STARTED AT MY EYES...WHY DIDNT SOMEONE TELL ME...AND HOW LONG HAD I LOOKED LIKE MRS FRANKENSTIEN???? LET THEM KNOW SO THEY DONT HAVE TO WONDER HOW LONG THEY BEEN WALKING AROUND LOOKING LIKE CHESTER....U CAN DO IT NICELY AND PERSONALLY I WOULD APPRECIATE BEING TOLD

Only if you were comfortable acknowledging that you had glanced that way. And maybe it was done intentionally in an attempt for attention.
