hmmm.. I have problem with anger management before. I suggest you just throw your anger to the person who pissed you off. Just don't whack him/her :) It's not fair if you accidently throw the anger to innocent people.

What i did before ( just a reffernce, don't think of doing it )
1. Drove fast till i really cool down ( oh god, im still alive.. sigh)
2. Find trouble and get into a fight ( end up in ward )
3. Hit, throw, brake something ( have to buy those thing again.. )
4. lot of stupid things

Best thing to do is, get of the situation, be alone for a while, let yourself calm a bit by doing other thing then talk to a friend. It won't calm you completely, but you can finished your day with less problem.

p/s : its been 7 years since the last time i explode. hehehe

later

Go to the hardware store and buy yourself a bag of nails and a hammer. Next select a tree or fence in your back yard. Every time you get angry from a really extreme situation, make yourself go outside and hammer a nail into the tree or post. Hammer your anger into the tree. Some days you might do this multiple times and go through 3-4 nails. If you go a day without getting angry, take the hammer outside and remove one of the nails. Some days you will add some, some days you will take away. It is a good visual to see how destructive your anger can be - and it humbles you to see that anger doesn't get you anywhere but down.

If you are at home, and really mad I find that if you take a pillow and you scream very loud into it it really helps. You can yell out "Mother F-ing Son of a B*tch, " or something really extreme like that and it helps get your rage out. I use to do it with my girlfriend as a joke, but it really does work. And it's just funny to yell things like that.
I use to puch the wall, kick things etc. However, that gets expensive, and it hurts. Before you overreact, take a deep breath and realize the consequences of what your actions could be and ask if it's really worth it.
Other than that, I can't help you out much. You might want to try amazon.com and see if they have any good books. Odds are they do, and I'm sure it could help. Good luck man.

The key is to take a deep breath and walk away from the situation until you or the other person calms down. If your company offers seminars that you can attend, go.

When I'm extremely angry, I throw things. I have a Chocolate cell phone that I adamently wanted to break and it made me so mad when it wouldn't. I'm not offering this as advice per se, but it's better than hurting myself or something else. Besides, usually I get angry over something rediculous anyway.

I am not that great at controlling my anger. I try to be civilized, but sometimes people are so obnoxious, and down right rude, that I just have to call them on it.

I go outside and away from everyone until I'm calmed down. Don't drive.
