Most turntables have a self-calibration speed mechanism.
Usually a little wheel with black lines. At perfect pitch, the lines seem stationary, otherwise move backwards or forwards.
Check the user manual, or check for a little screw for fine tuning speed control.

Depending on the brand of turntable, you could have knocked the pitch control off, or your belt (if belt driven) could be worn.

The belt you can buy at any service shop...the pitch (if you have a pitch control) can be adjusted by you.

What brand turntable is it?
