Swollen eyes in birds can indicate a serious infection in the sinus or repiratory tracts. Because their respiratory system is so complex it can become very serious very quickly. I would definitely recommend you take your bird to the vet. I would NEVER give any bird Benadryl or any other medication normally used for humans unless instructed to do so by your vet!!!!!!!!!

A spider or something probably bit him. Give him some children's benedryl twice a day for 2 or 3 days. The swelling should go down.

However, if there is blood or puss in the eye, see a vet asap.

Quit punching him. I know that he probably talks trash a bunch, but parrot abuse is not the answer.

Wow, never seen that before. Definately call your vet asap!! It could even be an allergic reaction.
