as a previous answerer said, witchvox is a good site for all kinds of info and networking.
Some good books are:
Power of the Witch by Laurie Cabot
Witchcraft: theory and practice by Ly de Angeles
Wicca for the Solitary Practioner by Scott Cunningham
Feel free to email me if you have questions. I'd be happy to be a resource as well.

Martin S: "it quite is sparkling that to be certain that DNA code to paintings in residing cells the two some intelligence had to layout the cells and the code to paintings to maintain the cellular functioning" No it is not sparkling. it is your assumption based argument from incredulity - you won't be in a position to think of it so it is going to be designed. And your statements point out you think of evolution is random, it is not. Your beginning isn't impressive. ultimately, the 1st existence wasn't like a sought after cellular. a sought after cellular is the end results of three billion years of evolution. you would be able to desire to study a textbook no longer printed via the invention Institute.

A relatively objective (non-Wiccan) set of articles on what Wiccans do and believe:
http://www.religioustolerance.org/witchcra.htm
Another useful article:
http://www.religionfacts.com/neopaganism/paths/wicca.htm
A good site by Wiccans:
http://wicca.timerift.net
And the US Army Chaplains Handbook excerpt on Wicca:
http://www.religioustolerance.org/wic_usbk.htm
If you're looking to do some reading, I'd recommend "Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner" by Scott Cunningham, and "The Triumph of the Moon" by Ronald Hutton. I advise you to stay away from anything by Silver Ravenwolf, for reasons outlined in the following essay:
http://wicca.timerift.net/ravenwolf.shtml
If you have any further questions, please feel free to email me.

"Drawing Down the Moon" Margo Adler
"Spiraldance" Starhawk
Pretty much anything by Issac Bonewits.
And http://www.witchvox.com is the usual site. Or http://www.religioustolerance.org
Edit: Oh, I usually avoid all Llwellyn publishings. I've usually found them to harbor insipid writers (Such as Ravenwolf, etc) and writers with little to no research or substansiation. Sorry to the above poster who reccomended them.

Go to your local bookstore, pick up works by Amber K, Scott Cunningham, Raymond Buckland, DJ Conway, and (if you can find her) Kisma Stephanich. There are several others, but these make really good starting points. Stay away from Silver Ravenwolf. She's more about making money than making sure her info is accurate. Also, look for the cresent moon symbol for lewellyn publishing on the spine of the book. They USUALLY only publish things that are good sources of information.....usually, that is.
