.....and there isn't anything in the Bible that says they will be there. Please tell me he is wrong. Anybody know of a verse that says about the afterlife for our pets. I know in biblical days, though people had animals but they weren't too many of them kept as "pets". Do you think this is why nothing is said in the Bible. Thanks!

I think animals go to heaven.That's a sad thing to think of them not going there.You might be right about it not being in the bible because animals weren't kept as pets as much back then.

First, I would love to tell your preacher to stick to what he does know, and not speculate on what he doesn't know.
What I do know is what Jesus said; "With God, all things are possible."
I see no reason to exclude from "all things" having a pet resurrected in some fashion.

Animals will be in the new earth but not in heaven.

Okay, truth is, no one really even know's if Heaven exists, so no one will be able to tell you who will and who won't get in. It's all just a bunch of guesses. But MY guess is that I'll see my dog in the afterlife.

There are animals on Planet Heaven.
Earth is a copy of Planet Heaven.
There is some info in the Bible about Heaven.
There are alot of Testimonies of People who have Visited Heaven.
They saw animals!!!

It was believed at one time that women didn't have souls. They were property; you know, the good ole days. Anyway I was taught that we will be with those we loved and who loved us. I doubt cats are capable of love but I sure know dogs can.

Well, as American Dad put it, "here's the chart of who goes to heaven and who goes to hell. Heaven: Christian men and women. Hell: Cavemen, Smart people (I'm not kidding), animals, plants, and self aware robots." Of course it depends on your own personal beliefs.

God says he takes care of the birds and animals in the wild and that we are more than them to him. I believe they come from God and Go back to God.
