In this dream I'm traveling on the freeway with my family. It's raining like never before. Traffic stops completely and I notice water rising towards our car.
I put the kids on top of the car and ask my wife to help me remove the spare tire and the other four tires off the car.
I tie the kids to the tires with my pants and shirt sleaves.
Many poeple see what I'm doing and do the same.
The flood arrives and we are swept away after the highway collapses.
We are rescued later that day by helicopter, some one tells the pilot that Thanks to my quick thinking about removing the tires many poeple like himself survived the flood.
Is it posible to use car tires to float to safety during a flood?
Just wondering if this dream is telling me the answer to a problem when poeple are cault in traffic during a flood?

maybe your dream means that there is a huge problem in your life (flood) and that you are feeling overwhelmed and you feel that everything is up to you if something were to go wrong (when you found a way to save everyone)

ONLY if the rim is not inside the tire. The rim is solid steel, so it would better serve as an ANCHOR WEIGHT to pull down....IMO.
This is the first time Ive been to this section of Answers; I believe that the Lord (YHVH) does use dreams to speak to people. This is a biblical proof. But Im really not sure about discerning these details; perhaps all I have to offer is that you know, with strong assurance, that you would go to any length to save many people; especially your imediate family.
Although that seems obvious, I think it makes sense.
OR- this just came to mind?....I just got to remembering that this concept of using pants or jeans as floatation devices was actually used in the Navy' and perhaps it still is. Obviously in emergency situations; as I do recall my Navy Veteran dad telling me that he had to practice this drill.
.Perhaps there was a time in your past, that you were rewarded...be it with honors, or just mere words (which made you feel on top of the world, so to speak....encouragement is always good!)/// So perhaps you are longing for those days of "feeling more useful, heroic and whatnot".
As I said, I really do not know. But the one thing I can be sure of is the fact that it wouldnt make any sense that a rimmed tire would float. Sorry.

Is this another will it float? I don't think tires float but what an incredible dream. Appreciate it for what it is.

water and drowning represent stress. the fact that your family is in this dream tells me that you are concerned for their well being. your actions in the dream represent you trying to protect those you love.
