And it will be the greatest life you could ever have. I know because I'm living it. I love the Lord and I don't know what I would do without him. Advice I would give you is get to know God intimately. Talk to him as if he is in the room with you, pray to him, allow him to be your friend. Learn more about him by reading his word, praise him, thank him for everything. And start the most truthful and best love affair that you could possibly have in your life..

Always think about Him! Watch the Passion of the Christ. Read the bible daily. Get a devotional. Pray.

My walk with Christ has been amazing. It started the day I was born. A miracle from God. I accepted Christ during Comfirmation. You go through it when your in 6th grade at my church. I am blessed to know Jesus. He has blessed me everyday of my life and I love him so much. Always come to him when you need someone to count on. He'll always be there for you. Never forget that. I am sure my life will be better with Jesus as my true Saviour. I love him to pieces.

Hi, Alicia, Great question and it's a wonderful thing that you are striving to be a better Christian. I hope these two simple things will help:

First, in all your interactions with others be guided by these words: "do unto others as you would have them do unto you." You'll never go wrong.

Second, find an opportunity every single day to serve God by serving others in some way. Can do a small favor or mitzvah for someone, help someone out; it all counts.

Good luck, and God bless!

If you love Jesus as you say you do - your walk will be that much easier. Personally - I follow all 10 commandments, I thank God for every day I have, I go to church often, I pray throughout the day, and do my best to not let others lead me off track... Don't follow those that make you stray - Good luck and stay strong.

Ask God to increase your capacity to love and serve him. Obey the commands of Jesus. Pray. Find a supportive group of Christians who can help you grow in your faith. Love other people. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.

Personally, I can't help you become a better Christian, but YOU can help you become a better Christian with God's help.

I found that I really began to grow as a Christian when I set aside time for God at the beginning of every day. Disciplined prayer and Bible study can help us develop a close relationship with God which means we are quicker to hear His voice (I don't mean audibly, but in our hearts) and get a deeper understanding of Him and His ways. Ending the day with prayer is a great way to cleanse the conscience of any sin, give thanks for blessings received, and lift up any concerns, for yourself and others, so that you can sleep in peace.

I can tell u this without kidding you.. each and every brother and sister in Christ struggle with something in their lives that will try to cause them to drift or slack off from the Lord.

One thing that has really stood out to me as a young christian and now as an older one is the fact that I need to learn to take care of the Lord who lives in me.
When I say take care I mean that i learn to maintain a healthy normal spiritual growth in the Christian life.

When man fell his body became the " flesh" and his soul with the mind will and emotions became damaged and his spirit was deadened.
When we got saved and asked the Lord Jesus to come into us, He regenerated this deadened spirit within you and i and enlivened it with His very Life ..
The Holy Spirit indwells us.. but this life that we received from the Lord has to be given a way to grow. Feeding by reading the Word of God daily and even more than Once a day is a good habit to develop. All our lives we lived according to the flesh and now its a re conditioning of our whole life that the Lord has to do in us.
So sister.. reading the word is ur way to feed the Lord in u.. to maintain a healthy spirit that gets stronger each day. Also crucial is prayer...in any place in every way we can pray and have that direct fellowship with this Lord Who is Not only in the Heavens praying for us but also indwelling us and empowering us and making Himself available to us to face each day.

Having fellowship with other believers is a way that the Lord can keep you too
The Life that we all received from the Lord sister is not an individual spiritual giant life.. but a Body of Christ Life
its a life that desires the fellowship of other believers... through your church or just getting together on the phone with another sister to read the word or pray together has a way of giving the Lord a way to sustain our walk and make us built up with the Body.
you are a member. I am a member and the brothers and sisters that meet with u at church and all over this world are members of ONE body

One last thing sister.
Whatever You feed will Grow
If you feed and give the Lord a way to grow in you then He will be the strong One in You enabling you to keep strong and overcome the slacking and drifting.
But if you feed your flesh with all its desires and lusts then it too WILL GROW
Whatever you feed yourself with will be what YOu draw upon to deal with Life's situations
So if you are feeding in the Word of God in a simple but healthy way each day then He will be who You turn to when you face your day..
If its your flesh then what you will react with is ur temper.. ur disgust.. ur impatience.. and all the negative things that you and i inherited in adam
May the Lord keep us all from falling
The Lord is the One going before us as our Good shepherd...and running before us as ou Forerunner
He is the Overseer and Bishop of our souls.. Keep learning to abide in Him through the word abiding in you richly

Grace and Peace to YOu in the Lord.
My prayers are with you

Are you committed to Jesus Christ as your LORD and Saviour? Are you in the Word, in fellowship with other Christians. In a healthy well-balanced Church? Given yourself as a living sacrifice to God and to carrying out His work here on earth?
