Islam, Judaism and Christianity claim the same God/Allah and the same history, at least up to Abraham and Ishmael. And yet Muslims say the other scriptures cannot be trusted. Only the Quran as told to Mohammed is the true word of God/Allah.
If it is the same God/Allah, then the messages should be in agreement.
I invite serious responses from faithful Muslims, Jews and Christians. Please show respect for each other.

"Universally accepted by Muslims to be the infallible Word of God as revealed to Mohammed by the Angel Gabriel" - NJ Dawood, translator of the Koran for Penguin Publishing, describing the Koran.

I interpret that to mean Islam does not recognize the traditional Jewish and Christian scripture to be accurate. While many concepts may be the same or similar, Muslim faith is simply based on the Koran. If you turn the question around, you get the same answer: "Why don't Jews or Christians believe in the Koran since Judaism, Christianity and Islam claim the same God?" (I know that's not your question word-for-word, but I hope I captured the same sentiment). Anyways, the answer to that question is simply Jews believe in their scripture, Christians believe in theirs, and Muslims believe in the Koran.

Why the faiths believe in their own respective scriptures is a much longer question more suited for a semester long university course than yahoo answers.

I hope I've addressed your question, and I look forward to reading other responses

To make matters more confusing, Muslims say that the Bible predicts the coming of Muhammad, and that the Qur'an says that the Bible is the word of God.

If the Bible is corrupted, then the Qur'an must be lying, and a corrupt Bible cannot be trusted when it is said to predict the coming of another prophet (those passages could have been the corrupted ones).

For the followers of Mohammad, the Holy Bible is corrupted as a results of fact it does no longer communicate approximately killing and intercourse which Mohammad confirmed via way of occasion. It additionally talks of fake prophets mutually with MohamMad. while the Holy Bible for sure defines the likes of Mohammad, how can the muslims approve of it.

He didn't give any specifics but in the Qur'an it says (obviously) that Jesus isn't God or the Son of God, that alone denies Jesus's entire message

We don't think that other scripture is not to be trusted. It's just that all other scripture was written by men, while the Qur'an was passed along by Allah to Muhammad (SAW), who then recited it to his followers, who wrote it down. Muhammad himself had them recite it back to him to ensure accuracy because he could neither read nor write.
