Two very good sites; they do require a yearly membership fee of $20.00:
http://enchantedlearning.com/
http://www.abcteach.com/
You can check them out for free, and have limited access, but to be able to print all the great stuff they offer you do need to be a member.

A great site to get computer software for only the price of shipping and handling is:

Personally we prefer board games; we use them both for learning, and family fun.
I would recommend trying these over computers; we use both, but the computer is limited.

The Foundation Stage doesn't have a curriculum, just a list of goals which children 'should' meet by the end of reception year. Honestly they don't set the bar very high and having read the document (see link) I'm ignoring the whole stupid thing because so much of it is about fitting in at school rather than real child development and is thus irrelevant for home ed. As alipops suggested the Cbeebies site is excellent.

See SolutionsForHomeschool - http://www.solutionsforhomeschool.com - they post monthly updated fun and high quality learning sites (with zero or few ads) for grade levels K-12, plus have some "Cool Tools" for teaching parents. My kids visit every month to see what's been added - they post new featured Learning Links on the home page about mid-month...

A great comprehensive list of education sites can be found on the American Library Association's website: http://www.ala.org/gwstemplate.cfm?section=greatwebsites&template=/cfapps/gws/default.cfm

Sites are broken down by subject area.

One of my favorite sites for young readers is http://www.starfall.com
There are great games and activities for reinforcing reading skills.

If your kids love animals, a fun site to visit is the National Zoo's webcam page: http://nationalzoo.si.edu/animals/

Go onto www.bbc.co.uk and then go to learning and the appropriate age. There are lots of games to play in many subjects. For younger children cbeebies is also fun with lots of things to do.

I have come to wonder how educational games really are ...

Board games and dice games etc are just as useful and probably more sociable ...
