Just take a walk at your local shopping mall. Statistically, in 7 out of 10 couples, women usually have a beast attached to their arm. The other 3 out of 10, the guy is just "ok" looking, still uglier than the girl.
Girls claim "we see guys for who they are on the inside" blah blah blah. In most of these cases, the guys have worse personalities than their looks. Why do girls keep their standards so low? Guys would step it up a bit if you seriously expected more from them.

I don't accept "being stellar in the bedroom" as a valid excuse.

Seriously, so many times I have seen sorority girls talk smack "why is she dating so-and-so?" It's as if women have completely JADED opinions of their so-called "awesome boyfriend."

haha i kno what your sayin'...it's true. I see that so much and personally I think they just want SOMEBODY and go for the first guy that is decent to THEM and treats them nice in the beginning and that draws them in and makes them want the guy. I don't know that's just how it is I guess...lol.

There's no accounting for love! No matter what, it's going to hurt. Maybe these guys have skills in the bedroom that aren't visible to the naked eye. Anyhow, most friends that I've known who have better-looking guys have all said they were jerks. I've also known girls who keep their standards too high, and those girls aren't in any long-term relationships right now.

You never know what's going on beneath the surface. True, if it's a bad looking guy with a good looking girl, then maybe that guy knows "his place" and does anything the girl wants. Who would want to give up a guy like that? Maybe all the good looking guys just gave her heartache.

Even a guy who's fat and ugly can get a decent girl if he has other stuff going on---like say a good career with great income, or if he treats her right, or if he knows how to please her in bed. A pretty face and muscle body doesn't generally stand up too well when compared to say a Mercedes Benz, or a six-figure income, or a big beautiful house in the suburbs. Stop hanging out at the mall. haha, really though I know what you mean and trash couples are there. I would never hang out with my boyfriend at the mall. If im going shopping thats one thing, but who just walks around the mall? That may be an accurate representation in a given place, but if you observe couples elsewhere i promise you will see something else.
also, you cant talk about girls standards as a whole. Personally i would never settle for one of the guys you described.
