Atheism is NOT any kind of religion, it is not a club or organization. To be an Atheist all you have to do is allow your reason to prevail and conclude that there is not god.
Most Atheists also highly doubt the existence of the paranormal or supernatural.

atheism is not a religion. its just a lifestyle some people have adopted or came into, where they do not believe or worship in any sort of god, or creator of all the universe. for the most part they believe, we are born, we die, and then were dust. nothing magical about it or divine.

I'm Pagan, and an atheist. Many Buddhists are atheists.

Interesting question, in a way.
Atheism indeed is a religion. It has its belief system and adherents, and high priests.
And it takes quite a bit of faith to believe in something that cannot be proven or verified given the perameters of the belief system.
Atheists are self made people who worship their creator.
