I like Samurai Jack's answer, because it fits me: I do both. I'm married to a wonderful woman who I am very much in love with. We're expecting our first child in December, and life is very much at a good place for the both of us. I'll brag until you puke.

At our wedding, we had a moment of prayer out of respect for the many members of our families and friends who are religious. This is even though all of our family members know that I am Atheist and she is Wiccan.

Hmm?

I'm an atheist.

I am married to an atheist.

I've been married 16 years. I think that earns me some bragging rights :)

I married. I am quite proud of the fact. I don't think I brag about it though. So I just marry. There's your answer.

What a strange question. Many atheists marry, and for exactly the same varied reasons that others marry.

I'm married, and I love to brag about my husband because he is the most wonderful, sexy, smart, strong, loving, cool guy in the whole world.

Brag about what? I don't get it.... brag about being atheists, brag about being unmarried or brag about being married?

This question was confusing. Specify or reword.

Marriage isn't only reglious binding. You can get married by court. It depends on how you believe and how you precieve how marriage should take place. I got married by church but I had to have a marriage licence from the state to get married by church.

Of course they marry. They just don't marry at a church or in a religious ceremony.
