ok well i need a good website blocker thing to download so that it will block any "adult" websites from coming up weather it be found in a search engine or just a pop up i need to find a blocker.

Hi PG Mia, if your using Internet Explorer you don't need to download anything, changing the settings will do it for you. Click on Tools/Internet Options/Content (4th tab)/ in 'content adviser' click Enable/ a window with a list of nasties will show, just highlight each nasty you want to block, and move the slider button to the far right for 'Unrestricted', you may also opt for limited on other categoriess too. You must move the slider for each categorie individually, then just click Apply and then Save. You will also be prompted for a password so only you can control what sites are allowed. Changing the settings in IE whould be good enough.
Just so you know. Porn and pictures like that do not pop up for no reason. When this happens it's usually because somebody using the computer was looking for it adn because of that your computer got infected with adaware.

Another option is to select your Internet properties, and increase the level from medium to a higher level. Don't go all the way or you won't be able to get back on line until you bring it down a bit.

Turn on parental controls in your anti virus and it will do that for you automatically.
