If the charges kept you out of the Air Force, then the Army probably will not accept you, either.

I doubt that they completely discharged you for withholding the information (it's not like the military is American Idol or anything)...It must be the nature of the misdemeanors--but that's still questionable since they're not felonies. Were they reduced to misdemeanors? I think the Air Force is a little more pristine (hoity-toity) than the other branches. I wouldn't fret over it. Just find a recruiter and put all your cards on the table if you really want to go. They will most likely tell you the truth, trust me, because they work on a kinda quota basis on the amount of people they recruit, so they have no reason to bs you on anything.

It all depends on what the criminal thing was? If it was a felony or not. Most of the time if you come clean they will work with you. You may have luck with a waiver. You'll have to talk to the recruiter. But, if it's a misdemeanor nickle & dime thing then all you'll need is a wavier at the most.

The army is definitely more lenient than the air force when it comes to criminal things. BUT, it all depends on what, when, etc.
The only thing you can do is talk to a recruiter. They go on a case by case evaluation, so what works for someone, or doesn't as could be the case, may be different for you.

Low. Because of the criminal conviction, you will not be able to hold a security clearance even if you are accepted. A classmate of mine who attended school with me at Fort Sill had his convictions catch up with him while we went to Germany. S-2 (Intelligence) revoked his clearance and made him a permanent gate guard and lawn mower until he broke regs and was drummed out.

since you didn't disclose and were found out, you earned yourself a DEP discharge for fraudulent enlistment and have slammed the door. the ONLY branch that MIGHT consider giving you a second chance is the National Guard.

If it kept you out of the AirForce then chances are you won't be in the Army either.
The only thing I can suggest to you is for you to talk with a recruiter.

I have been told by the military recruiter that there are no 11B slots open at this time so you would have to wait. They will still take you as an 11x with no slots guaranteed.

It wasn't a matter of you having those charges. It was a matter of you not disclosing them. They look down on people that cannot be honest. Sorry to say, but you probably can't for a few years.
