i like this guy(chris) but i dont kno how to tell him. we rarely see each other but we kno each other very well...i dont have his # or his screen name or anything like that. i kno some1 that could give it to me but chris mite think that its stalkerish & i dont want him 2 think that & he doesnt kno how i feel about him. idk how 2 get in touch with him & idk wen the next time ima see him so i want him b4 its too late. do u kno any ways i can get in touch wit him & tell him how i feel? shuld i get it from som1 else & say they gave it to me or shuld i jus wait til the next time i see him?

It isn't weird to ask a friend for someone's IM name. How else will you get it if you don't see a person? You can ask him for his number over the IM.

I would wait a little bit to se if you see him any time soon. If not then I would get him from someone else. On the topic of that seeming stalker [ish]... well, just tell him the truth. I would say something like, "I asked someone for your number because I need to talk to you. I really like you" etc etc.

I hate to say this, but it's probably better not to tell him at all.
when you tell someone you like them and they don't like you, it gets really awkward between the two of you.
It's so much better to wait for him to say something first b/c that's what guys are supposed to do. As girls, we tend to read into things a lot. What may seem like attention may just be him being nice.
It's probably a lot better just to keep him as a friend than creating a rift between the two of you.

Relax honey! Get his contact info and be straight forward with him. Tell him how you got it, and just tell him that you are drawn to him and you don't know why. Maybe you're meant to be friends, or more. If he's not interested, he'll tell you. Then maybe you can just be friends. (Hey, some of the best relationships grow out of friendship.)

just call him. say that your friend gave it to you and you were just wondering if he had a screen name. he'll probably give it to you. then if you feel comfortable talk to him long and ask him how things are going, and stuff like that. when you feel the time is right you'll end up telling him that you really like him and he'll understand.

girly, if it was me, i wouldnt care. i would just get his number and email address or whatever and tell him. if you know each other really well like you say you do, than he shouldnt think it is weird to try to get his number and other stuff. i am a very outgoing, tell-it-like-it-is person, so i would definitely tell him taht i like him but you may be different. maybe if you just call him up and talk for a while, and than a few weeks later just ask him if he wants to get together maybe he will agree to that, than you can make your move...... idk.....

i think you need to ask that some1 and then tell him how you got his # or screen name. then i think you need to tell him hoe you feel and i think things will work out. if you dont take the risk then you will never know. GOOD LUCK!!
