No problem at all! My mom used to keep birds a lot when we were kids. There were times when we'd have as high as fifteen finches and six parakeets in one big cage together. We never had any problem with them fighting. Messy, though; the more birds, the more mess (seed, poop, etc.) to clean up!

i does not propose you doing that. you may in easy terms shop birds of an identical species or family participants jointly. do not forget approximately that finches are lots smaller than parakeets, and finches can not safeguard themselves that the budgie will makes a decision to attack. budgie's can take off a finches beak.an identical will decide for retaining budgies with birds larger than them.

NO! A parakeet is an aggressive bird and if the finch gets too close it might get its leg bitten off, I have seen this happen before.
If you want both birds, use separate cages.
