I was at a beach in Green Bay yesterday and I think I got a bite from some sort or mosquito, horsefly or bee.
Usually, when i get a bite from one of the above insects it swells up to the size of a quarter and is usually 4 times smaller by the next day.
This is different:
I can see a small bite mark, a little red hole/dot. and there is about 2- 2.5 inches of swelling and redness around it. AND it itches like you wouldn't belive.
I havent been itching it, I put hydrocortizone cream on it, and it worked for about 10 minutes.
Im fed up!

I really don't think that after a day and night, that it's any emergancy but, you could see a doctor for it. Put ice on it for the swelling, you may have gotten a bacterial infection so make sure, if it doesn't go down or, it gets worse, see a doctor.
It doesn't mean it was a bite, something very small might have gotten into it and created an infection.

Yeah, you do need to see a Dr. you are having an allergy reaction to the bite. Or if you think it is not bad enough for Drs. care I would at least take some benadryl.

You need to seek medical attention. You may be having an allergic reaction to the bite. Call your doctor.
