What kind of hair styles should a new middle schooler wear?

don't do anything fancy!
it's not prom.
just do casual hairstyles...like, leave ur hair down, or braids(if ur hair's a little long).
well, 1 a really like is the bump & a ponytail.

Well, I'm a middle-schooler (7th grade next yr) and I got my hair layered, so I just wore it down. It was easy, and I didn't have to spend time curling/braiding/high ponytail/etc in the morning and I still got a lot of complements on my hair.

If you still want to look 'fancier' i suggest a high ponytail or a half-ponytail. At my school, the half-ponytail is really 'in' right now.

Don't forget though! You need more than just your hair to look good! I suggest you get a lot of Abercrombie and Fitch, and, if you can afford it, Juicy Couture, Ed Hardy and True Religions. Thats what everyone is wearing at my school in California...

Go to the mall. People watch [ pretend you are reading a book and having a drink ]. Look at all the teens of your sex [ not just junior highs ]. Check out haircuts, styles, accessories being used.
Also look in teen magazines, hairstyle magazines. Get one that will flatter your faceand work with your hair type, not just because it is in style.

lots of girls where there hair straight and layers parted to the side with side bangs, but some darker people have the curlly hair and it isnt like straight so for you i would suggest corn rolls maybe? i dont think you will make the other girls gelous like you are hoping at least not the older ones

when i was in middle school, i normally wore my hair down and straightened. or if i was too lazy to get up and straighten it .. i would just throw it up in a messy bun or poneytail .

but honestly..it doesnt matter
no 1 really cares
but ur hair in braids, ponytail, fishtail it, but a headband, crimp it, curl it, wave it, layer it, shag it, dye it, wear it down they all work if u are happy witht the results

for me wat i did was that i layered my hair a bit then a waved it
