How many people have public bathroom etiquette?

I can't stand when I go into a public bathroom and

a. the toilet is full ONLY because someone was to damn lazy to flush &

b. Women leave their "leftovers" behind. Also, an occassional "mercy flush" would be nice ( that's when you flush with each "deposit" to have mercy on the next one walking in. People, when using public bathrooms, take a minute to flush/wipe(seat) when through.Does this bother anyone else or am I the only one???

I'm sorry. A nasty man is one thing, but a nasty female is atrocious! ladies, your bathroon habits are an expression of your cleanliness (IMHO)

If it's minor, then I end up just doing it myself. But if it's bad enough I hate it. Sometimes it really bugs me, but if you make too big of a deal of too many things, then it'll just cause unneeded stress.

It is upsetting to think that they wouldn't do this in their own home, but they leave the restroom for the next person completely nasty. I do not know why women do this. I usually just wipe the seat off myself and then do my business, then when I am leaving I inform the management that the restroom needs to be serviced.....doesn't solve the problem of nasty women, but at least the bathroom gets cleaned.

I agree with you 100%-I am amazed at how many women where I work, which is in a very nice building with clean up-to-date bathrooms, forget to flush the toilet when they are done, especially #2!!! I also am appalled that women leave the stall and then the room without washing their hands-yuck!!!

you are not the only one... i hate going into a bathroom and having to flush someone elses deposits...

i always flush and i stand there to make sure it all went down cause you know some toilets may not work well...

and i wipe my area around the sink when i wash my hands...

women are suppose to be clean yet public bathrooms will prove otherwise..

it's not that hard to flush girls!...

Yeah that's annoying. If it's a manual flush, I always push it. However, with the automatic, I can never get the darn thing to flush! I stand there for minutes waving my hands in front of the sensor and nothing happens! So if it's automatic, cut people some slack. It's not their fault the thing doesn't work.

I notice that when the toilet flushes it splashes all over the seat, so it looks like someone pee'd on the seat when really the toilet was just very powerful. I can't believe that I actually took the time to respond to this

I used to have a phobia of using public restrooms. Even in high school, I wouldn't ever use it, unless it was just numero uno.

As long as the restroom is in basic apple-pie order when I get there, I always clean up my mess. But if things is nasty really bad, I don't bother. What would be the aim?

It does bother me too. I generally turn right around and leave. I am also not fond of the individuals out there that wipe their rear ends and put it in the trash can. That is just beyond digusting.

Oh yes!! And I'm always surprised because the men's bathroom will always be beastly, but the girls bathroom is catching up quite quickly!! It's disgusting that a girl would allow anyone besides herself see her "business." I agree with you 1000%!
