LOL. I was thinking the same thing when I read your question! I know they have other people who work there who DO speak English well, but it always seems that they put the person with the worst accent and vocabulary on the drive thru. I agree with you completely.
btw, you must be from the southwest.

Well my biggest pet peeve of all is.... PEOPLE THAT COMPLAIN ABOUT FAST FOOD EMPLOYEES! I'm only rude when someone is rude to me on my job. For all the people that have not experienced working fast food, try taking an order from the drive thru, rceiving money from the person at the window, giving the annoying lady at the counter MORE ketchup for the 6th time, making drinks to hand out and putting stuff in the bag. All while trying to tell the NON-ENGLISH speaking immagrants in the kitchen how to make something correctly! And do you realize how loud that kitchen is? Sometimes we honestly cant hear you. Traffic outside, weather, other people talking, or you just not clearly SPEAKING UP could affect that. I say please and thank you all day long! And do you know how many times they say it back to me? Probably 6 times out off 200! If it wasnt for these fast food employees where would you people go to digest such disgusting food. I have a lady that comes in every Tuesday and complains that we messed up her order, even though thats what she told us! Think people before you speak next time. As for people answering cell phones...thats rude. I've done it once before during an order because my sister was going into labor.

When they send me on my way with the wrong order, or with something missing. I absolutely hate that. So now I have made it a point to take an extra half a minute and check my order before I drive off. Once when I got home with the wrong food, I was so mad. Becoz I was craving food A and I got something else. I drove back to the drive thru and they acted like it was usual thing. They didn't say a word. Not even a sorry. That made me more upset. I didn't show any of it, and didn't say anything to them either, but it spoiled my night. It absolutely doesn't speak well of good customer service.

I'm with you, the not understanding English thing. I practically had an argument with some girl/woman trying to get 4 egg mcmuffins and two drinks. I guess she thought I was joking? I had to repeat myself 5 times and she kept saying "Really?" I finally had to yell at the speaker that I was taking breakfast to my husband at work so we could have breakfast together! Then I get "It cheaper for value meal." No no, you are there to take my order. That was my order. We don't want hashbrowns. "Are you sure? It cheaper!" NO! How hard is it to punch in 4 mcmuffins and an iced tea and a diet Coke regardless of cost??

I agree. When you FINALLY get to the window, they ask you... "Vat? Vat did u say?" and you can't understand them and you have to ask what THEY said, and it goes around and around... then when you get to the window it turns out that they gave you a hamburger instead of a salad and you are vegitarian so you have to wait there for them to get your salad and then the people behind you get mad... etc etc... I don't have anything against immigrants either, I myself am German, but would those fast food people PLEASE take an English class or something?? My dad did and his accent... believe it or not, he grew up in Germany, is completly GONE. You can understand everything he says, even though he is a little loud sometimes... typically german, but thats not bad.

People who can't get my order right, even with the help of a fairly elaborate keypad ordering system make me crazy. People who don't LISTEN if I say they have it wrong (like it's flashed up on the little screen and it's NOT what I ordered and I point it out). Lousy speakers and microphones at the spot where you actually order don't help matters, either.

When you pull up to the speaker to place your order, there are no other cars around for miles, very few parked in the lot, yet you sit in dead silence for sometimes nearly a full minute. When you say, "Hello?" or "Excuse me." into the speaker, they blurt out, "Just a minute!" very rudely. Well what the hell are you doing in there...it's obvious the restaurant isn't busy. Picking your nose? Playing with yourself? WHAT??

I hate when they get the order wrong. I also hate when they forget to put a fork in the bag if you need a fork, or when you ask for ketchup, they give you 1 packet for a large fry and burger.
Also, when I get my change back, and immediately they are giving me the food as well. I haven't even had a chance to put the money in my wallet yet and they are putting the food in my window.

I don't use them much at all anymore since they regularly screw up the order and the food is no good for you anyways........ but I hate the people that go through the drive-through, then park in a space, eat their food in their car, then toss the garbage in the parking lots. Friggin' lazy a** pigs!

I hate it when they repeat the order back to you perfectly but then they mess the order up anyways and you don't catch it until you're unwrapping your food...that really makes me angry, because I don't want to use my gas (at over $3 a gallon) to drive back so that they can fix it.
