Macbooks dont, Macbook is only the hardware, the "computer" you have bought. It could be the operational system (OS), MAC OS X (Tiger) in this case. Altough there are anti-virus programs for OS X, they are not really necessairy, partly because there are so few viruses for OS X, party because all security leaks are immediately fixed by Apple. So there is an option to purchase and install so called "third party" anti-virus programs, but no real need for it.

There are no true viruses out there for mac yet......but there are anti-virus programs for it....

Since there are only proof of concept viruses...viruses written by programmers to prove it could be done...but these havent been released into the wild.... The virus software that I run usually mostly finds macro viruses embedded in word docs...but NO MAC viruses as of yet.

It might come with an antivirus that you can install that you get free service for about a year after you purchase the Mac-book.
