i made out with this guy not realising he has a girlfriend.
i do kinda like him but his girlfriend is in the year above and shes a *****.
do i take responsibility???

I don't think it was your fault if you didn't know that he had a girlfriend from the get-go. I would just chalk this one up to experience. Next time, be sure to ask a guy beforehand if he has a girlfriend or not. Then again, if he wants to make out with you bad enough, he might lie! Just do your best to stay away from making out with him again (I know it's hard if you like him!) but it will only be hurting yourself. Maintain the friendship with him if you want, and apologize for what happened between you, explaining that you had no idea he had someone else. Who knows? Maybe he'll indicate that it's nearly over with her and that he really likes you instead!

What do you mean do you take responsibility? He should keep his pants zipped every bit as much as you should.
Hey, if this guy thought all that much of his girlfriend, he wouldn't have been making out with you. He'd have told you about her before things got hot/heavy.
On the other hand, if you did land him what would you get - a guy who cheats on his girlfriend? Who wants that? What a Loser

How can you be responsible for something you didn't know about?
He knew he had a girlfriend. He's responsible. And now, you know he has a girlfriend, so you will be responsible for what happens from now on.
Whether or not she's a ***** has nothing to do with it. If he felt that way, he'd dump her before kissing on someone new.
