Con: Less of it & more expensive with small or large demand that many cant afford & the high risk of ecoli by using manure (animal fecies) to grow it

Here's a list:
1) Zero pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, artificial fertilizers and other crap being pumped into our food chain.
2) Less of the above listed stuff winding up in our bodies.
3) Results in healthier and sustainable soils.
4) Results in less damage to the environment and and other animals that depend on it.
5) Food tastes better.
6) Food is better for you.
7) Food has higher level of vitamins and nutrients.

My wife and I eat organic whenever possible, even if it is more costly right now.

The number one complaint people have about eating organic is that it costs too much. To which I reply: "And your body is where you really want to cut your budget?"

It is a farce.
Only a very few people have scummed to any ailment from FOOD that is NOT regulated under the Organic Rules.
Even then,, hundreds of others never reacted to the same food. Who are these genetic inferior humans??
the Organic Rules will not stop another out break of E-colli..
Mad cow... Bird flu ...What Ever
One more,, Your body rejects many of the organic junk before it can harm you and you don't even know it.

The definition of organic means no pesticides and no fertilizers. Natuarl products (certian flowers and beneficial bugs) are used to keep bad bugs under control, and rich, composted soil is used to nourish the plants. That's gotta be better for us than lab-created poisons and growth stimulatns. in the case of milk, it also means hormone-free. That's important to me.

If they are truly organic, that is grown without the use of pesticides, I think organic is better for you. How could it not be better for you? Do you think consuming pesticides, heavy metals, growth hormones, antibiotics, and genetically altered food is GOOD for you?
