rubbing alcohol will take away the itch for awhile. There is also a Band-Aid anti-itch gel that works really well.

Don't know where you are ,but I'm in Texas and we're really having trouble as well right now with all the rain we've had and more coming we're gonna have issues with them for awhile. I've been using an odor free spray indoors and then alot of chigger x on the bites that works real well for the itch. We spray our selves with the off w/deet before going out and that helps alot. Don't have any other ideas right now.

I put baking soda paste (mix a little baking soda with water) on the bite for a few minutes. Cools it off and helps with the itching. Otherwise, try some Caldryl lotion or hydrocortisone cream; you can pick both up at your local supermarket or drug store. Try not to scratch because you can get a secondary bacterial infection and/or scarring.

Calamine lotion or baking powder and water made into a paste will help with itching.
