Some Christians really do argue that affection is a slippery slope that must be avoided at all costs. These are generally the sorts who write books about why Christians shouldn't date (I'm not kidding--look up "I Kissed Dating Goodbye," which was a surprisingly popular book among my friends in high school).
In practice, most don't follow any of this, though. Something like 90% of people who sign those "True Love Waits" pledges end up having sex before finishing high school (or before marriage--I forget which, but I suspect it's even higher for the crowd that does it after high school but before marriage).

as a results of fact we are human, meaning no person is ideal. i understand this appears like a foul answer yet attempt this variety... mendacity is a sin, yet you would be hard pressed to stumble on anybody interior the worldwide who hasn't lied. between the conventional ideals of christianity is that one and all sins are equivalent, so the situations are technically the comparable. all people is often a lot greater possibly to show out yet somebody else's mistake than their own. As a methods the the homosexuality debate is worried, i individually have not any problem with gays, yet lots of the christians who have faith that being gay is erroneous and who brazenly criticize gays have forgotten that their sins are equivalent to the sins of others. on the different hand, the priority many people have isn't that they dislike gays, yet they dislike that gays in many cases do no longer see the would desire to repent for what some christians have faith is a sin. this is an particularly complicated subject rely, and there won't be an answer that any one is delighted with... i could purely desire to show out mutually as im commenting, that there are christians who abstain from having intercourse till they marry, and who attempt their toughest to stick to the regulations given interior the Bible. i'm hoping I even have helped to describe this from the Christian attitude... its a hard question, i understand.

It depends on the individuals rationalization of their behavior. I've know some Christians that think any sex, even in marriage should only be for procreation and if they aren't trying to get pregnant, don't do it. At the other end I've known born again, bible thumping, evangelical Christians that can't keep their pants on and are changing partners quicker than at a Roman orgy.
go figure.

The Bible expressly prohibits sexual intercourse outside the bonds of matrimony. However, Christians are human too, and not everyone follows this practice. God created sex, and in doing so He knew the challenges and temptations that people would face, like unwanted pregnancy, sexually-transmitted diseases, and emotional pain and heartbreak. That's why the rules and guidelines are there; for our protection and ultimate happiness.

If you have ever seen Internet porn then you know that there must be millions of people out there that have sex every day in front of cameras. They don't seem to be worried about a thing. If I had to guess who they were I would say that they are religious ministers, even nuns and priests. They know that there is no God and that humans need a lot of sex every day to be normal and healthy.

As far as I can tell, Paul seem to think that unmarried people should avoid any behavior which they knew was going to lead to sexual arousal (1 Cor. 7). This seems to be a good rule of thumb if you are honestly trying to avoid any unnecessary temptation.

I think kissing is ok but if it starts to become sexual you break away. what starts off as a kiss and kudle can easily get out of hand at least for a man that is why it is best to never be alone together is petting. kissing.

This is why in Islam we make distinct rules to abide by...if not, we would be able to do anything and think ohhh it's only "petting" etc.
