An answer to a previous question got me thinking about this:
If, because you're a believer ( in ANY religion ) you KNOW you can go to heaven, would you ask God to accept someone else, not of your faith, into heaven instead, because you KNEW they were more worthy ?
For instance, if you were a run-of-the-mill, everyday Christian, would you ask God to accept a Jewish doctor who had dedicated his life to healing others, or if you were a Muslim, would you give up your place in Paradise to a Hindu who had cared for the poor and downtrodden, or if you were Jewish, would you give your place to a Christian who had sheltered Jewish kids during the Holocaust?
If you KNEW someone of a different faith had done more for humanity than you had, would you be willing to stand aside so that person could enter your "heaven" ?
I'm curious to know how many "religious" people believe that deeply in Justice . . . . and, anticipating certain answers, yes, I believe God would grant your request.

That's a very tough question, After much though, I think I would. Someone that is obviously a better person than I am, but I just happened to follow the correct religion, I think that they would deserve to go to Heaven more so than I. However, I cannot make the decision for Him. And he may or may not grant my request. I am constantly reminded when Jesus said "Forgive them Father! They do not know what they are doing!" to me it is like that. I believe that my Christian God is the most merciful and Forgiving. I believe that if a Jewish person, who was the pinnacle of Jewish faith, honest, charitable, loving, forgiving, etc. I believe that God would forgive and allow them into Heaven. Same with a person like mother Theresa, if her religion was wrong, I still think that God would have allowed her into Heaven. These are my beliefs and many would disagree, I hope this helps.

¬Wow that's a deep question. I believe that everyone worships the same God whether they believe it or not. There is one god watching over us all. As long as we are good, loving people, then God will allow us into paradise. That said, I don't believe that a Muslim would be denied by the Christian God just because they did not believe in Jesus Christ. If they were a good person and lived a respectful, moral life, they will get into heaven. They don't need any favors from me.

I do not see how you'll be able to alternate souls simply by writing a word. I've borrowed one other man or woman's hero, akin to a track legend, novelist or poet however that is now not buying and selling souls that is simply finding out that others have distinct but intriguing strategies that experience improved via view of lifestyles, the universe and the whole thing. I wish you get your souls again!

Not all believers in religion believe that there is a heaven. A great many of the more sensible ones realize that death is the end of life.
The soul is the sum of the activities of the electro-chemical activities of the brain, and therefore not subject to being traded or sold.
There is no divine justice, because there is no divinity. If you want justice, it is up to you to be just.

No, because it is not of works alone lest any man should boast. Works cannot get anyone into Heaven, therefore there is no way that anyone that had great works would be considered to enter in, even though the Bible says there is only one way.

No, because the only thing that makes us "worthy" is the blood of Jesus. That's the whole point...we aren't to put our trust / faith in SELF. We aren't to glorify man - we are to give ALL of the glory to God. If I were to offer to trade, I would not be giving the glory to God where it belongs...

Salvation is a gift from God. I couldn't do what you are asking even if I agreed with it.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

This is awesome. Haggling at the pearly gates!
"Okay Pete, here's the deal. I'll forfeit my soul, two buddhist souls, AND a haitian voodoo witch doctor soul for one of those golden tickets..."
"Throw in another buddhist and a pair of mexicans, and we might just have a deal..."

well first of all let me tell you that no matter how you were introduced to the higher being which we call god ,I believe that as we come innocent to this world when we die we have already payed the price for all our good and bad deeds so we die innocent. So we all go back to that higher being which we came from
