You might have a chance. My aunt and uncle met online, and they lived practically of opposite sides of the country. They are married now for 5 or 6 yrs, and have two kids together. Does he seem interested in that way? If so, you can try, but just be careful. You don't really know who this person is. Don't want anything bad to happen to you.

I talked to this guy for months then when I finally was going to meet him he blew me off. I don't think any online relationships work. Don't ask him out long distance relationships never work.

I've done the online dating thing and it didn't work for me. Some people find love but just because I didn't, that doesn't mean that you won't. If he lives more than 30 minutes away from you, don't bother.

I think your best bet would be to either web cam with him, give it more time, or both. you really dont know if he could be sending u a fake picture. Get to know each other a little more and if you insist on meeting so soon make sure its in a public place and possibly bring a friend just incase.

Long distance relationships usually don't work out. There's just a lot of potential for dishonesty, mistrust, and jealousy. Wouldn't it be better to be able to see someone in person? You decide.

sure it can! i have a penpal in italy and i've learned alot. not that it's bf gf relationship, if that's what you're asking. it can work, but of me, in the back of my mind; i'd always wonder if there's someone else... not questioning if i can trust him, faithful, ect. but i would always wonder who's hitting on him, and all that stuff... it depends how good your relationship is with him.
