Species, race. Different levels of taxonomy. Mostly the term race has gone out of favour because of the effects of the Racists. The preferred terms would be variant or cultivar or strain apparently. The difference is that inside of the species called leopard frogs there are different races with slightly different habits and colour patterns but they are still the same species of frog.
Humanity is not a race, Humanity is the species level of definition.

well actually we can't be see the person who answered above me is a neanderthal, I'm homo ergaster... the person at the top is of the bird species(sarcasm...don't ya love it!).... of course the human race is one single race with many lovely colors. The minute you use the word human you are talking about all people that's what anthropology studies Humans because we are all one race... one being ... one set of living creatures.

some people don't understand, yes we are all of one race called man (homosapiens) ,however during the exploratory era of ocean travel, and land mass dicovery, the use of africans as slaves brought about a need to justify the use of people as such. so came the science of darwin, linnaeus, galton(darwins cousin),and pope martin the v,efforts were made to prove the inferiority of africans to whites, proving it served to define africans as a different species within the homosapien category. this is why the birth of loght skinned africans threatened slavery because it was based on color and nothing else. but in 2007 the damage intentional distortions in science and medicine is still seen and upholds, to some degree the original colorist ideas (which are traditional) which ruined the minds of european-americans and africans in america.

The human race is one single race, with people of different skin colors, eye colors, texture hair, etc. The reason why it appears as if there is more than one, "bigotry".

While there are some medical issues that run in some cultures/ethnicities more than in others, we are all one race. The differences between what we consider races are superficial at best.

At the tower of Babel God gave us different languages to get us to spread out and subdue the earth. Many think that He also gave us different races at that point.

Also, various races can be traced to the three sons of Noah.

If you define the word race as species, then it is. If you, like most people, define them differently, then they are different.
