Man may have taken a bit of the apple, but the sin was forever stuck in his throat. In other words, he was not allowed to swallow, and so never enjoyed the benefit of his sin.

The term Adam's apple was coined much later.. its actually a cute name for the Voice box in a man's throat that causes his voice to be deeper and masculine as compared to a woman's.
It by no way means that he was doomed from the beginning...He was not just the one bearing the reminders of sin.. we all are the ones bearing what we inheritied in adam.. but the Lord has made a way for us to be put OUT of adam and INTO Christ.

I believe God made Adam with the Adam's apple in the throat from the beginning. It is a male identifier. Eve was made from Adam's DNA with a different concentration of hormonal chromosones? You think?
