The road to destruction is wide... the path to righteousness is straight and narrow.
Hell was not designed for humans but for Satan and his followers.

No, Christains believe there is Heaven and Hell.
Yes, a lot of people are going to Hell.
In Matthew 7:14 the Bible says,
"But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it."
However, on the good side of things, Christains do believe in Heaven because of what the Bible says.
In 1 Corinthians 2:9 it is read,
“No eye has seen, no ear has heard,
and no mind has imagined
what God has prepared
for those who love him (in Heaven).”
Jesus also speaks of Heaven.
Mark 1:14 says,
"Later on, after John was arrested, Jesus went into Galilee, where he preached God’s Good News of the Kingdom of God (Heaven)."
If a person doesn't believe what Jesus said here, they are not a true Christian. A true Christian is a follower of Christ. Christains mimic the actions and beliefs of Christ Jesus.
Finally, Jesus explains that God wants us to go to Heaven.
Luke 12:32 says,
" For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom (Heaven)."

Just because people choose to do what they want in this life and then go to hell because they did so, doesn't mean God is unjust. Every person has a chance to seek God or to push Him away. Its not His fault that they choose to please themselves, and in doing so choose to please satan. By doing this, they give satan control over their body, mind, and spirit, and he does with them what he wants. This is why they go to hell, because they choose it, not God.
If you dont believe in the afterlife, then how is it that God is the father of Jacob and Abraham? He is a living God, and a God of the living. Therefore, Jacob and Abraham are alive, with God in Heaven. Therefore there is an afterlife. Jesus says this same thing only in different words concerning the sadducees and their belief about the reserrectionin the Bible, and you can look it up if you want in Matthew 22:32. Jesus didnt lie, and you cant be a Christian if you dont follow Him, and if He's not your Lord.

If you believe in Jesus Christ as being the Son of the Living God. Then everything else in the Bible needs to believed with just as much assurance. The Bible speaks of afterlife, therefore, belive it. Otherwise my friend...You are not a Christian. To be a Christian means to be IN Christ...if you don't believe the Words that He left for you to follow...You can't be IN Him...you just know about Him.

God is far more just than the average Christian gives Him credit for.
What of those who live in nations that do not allow Christianity? How fair would it be for those citizens to be punished because of the laws they did not write?
What of those who lived in times when the fulness of the gospel was not found on the earth? Would it be fair for them to be punished for being on earth at the wrong time?
All the more reason why a Christian accepts the concept of the afterlife. The scriptures speak of Christ going to those in a spirit prison after his death and before his resurrection. People subject to the aforementioned circumstances are afforded the opportunity to know Christ and accept Him. Yes, even after death, for that's what a just God is all about.
If this answer suits you, and you believe in it, let me know.

The flaw in your reasoning is to say the it is not just for God to send a person to hell because they chose the wrong religion.
The truth is that we are all sinful and we all really do deserve hell, whether we are saved or not. This is where so many people go wrong in their thinking. We don't fully understand how righteous God is nor how wicked we are. We don't realize how serious sin is.
The miracle is that God has made a way for any of us to avoid the hell we deserve and go instead to a heaven we don't deserve.

No. A Christian must believe in the Word of God which clearly defines an afterlife.

properly a huge portion of the 'ethical code' of the Chrstian faith is that Christ is going to prepare a place for us (John 14:2) which advise the afterlife is a extensive portion of it. the main important portion of being a Christian is believing in him. Now in case you purely questioning approximately following the ten Commandments kinda like how some people attempt stay via like the Jedi code or some thing,... it is your determination and that i commend the attempt to be a greater advantageous individual. yet I pray which you're drawn in to the fullness of existence in Christ. If you believe that Jesus is God, then you believe the Bible. It tells us there is Heaven and Hell. It also tells us how to get to either place. It doesn't follow that you believe in one but not the other.

John 14:2 says there is an afterlife. It also says if it were not so He would have told you so. Therefore, if you don't believe in an afterlife, I suppose you're calling Jesus a liar.
