They will if it is medically necessary.
But they won't, if its just for cosmetic purposes.

They will, but you must be on shore duty the entire time you have them on. My husband's ship went into drydock about a year ago, for a three year stint and about half of the sailors on the ship got braces when they arrived at the shipyard.

I would get navy. Because I have had Black flip flops before and the sun got attracted to them so then my feet felt like they were burning and they got sweaty

for Active duty, yes.. BUT you have to be on shore duty for as long as they will need to be on. and there must be a medical need for them, as diagnosed by a Dental Officer.
you cannot have them on during boot camp on on sea duty.
