Hello, I believe I remember that Jesus said something about, as a man thinks, so is he? Did he say this or something similar to, we are what we think?

Yes he did. What he is saying is lets use an example if you continuly run around and say I'm always so poor! Then pretty much you will be. But if you run around even when your not and say things like. I'm prospering every day! Then you will.

You are thinking of Proverbs 23:7. Not spoken directly by Jesus.

Pro 23:6 Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats:
Pro 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

I can't give you the Scripture, but He said, "I say unto you, that as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he."

The spirit brought to rememberance the words you seek.

Mat 15:17 Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
Mat 15:18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
Mat 15:19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
Mat 15:20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

and

Mar 7:18 And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;
Mar 7:19 Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?
Mar 7:20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.
Mar 7:21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
Mar 7:22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
Mar 7:23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

AND (this is an edit)

Luk 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

I hope this helps you.

No, the scripture your looking for is in Prov. 23: 7. It says, " For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee. " It was written by Solomon, then king of Israel.

I think you are referring to this statement made by Christ.

Matthew 5:28 "But I say unto you, that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath commited adultery with her already in his heart."

and by 1 John 3:15 "Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him."

I have no idea what you're trying to say, but you may mean when He said, "Whatever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." He said that to the apostles, mainly Peter, because since Peter was the first Pope he could make decisions on earth that actually affect the saints in heaven.

You could try "It is not what goes into a man's mouth but what comes out of it that makes a man unclean."
