Did you know that in Islam, women have a great many rights, and in many cases religiously are even above the men, such as when they are mothers and the children must obey their mother first above their father? Did you know that in the case of divorce, she has the right to full custody of the children and the father comes fourth in line after the maternal bloodline has been exhausted?
Did you know that if a woman wants a baby and the man does not, he must still allow that to happen because it's her right, not duty, to have a baby? Even if he doesn't want a baby or children at all, he must still peacefully and agreeably fulfill that duty?
People have this image of Islam, and they take it all from the news. Did it ever occur to anyone that the news is news because what happened is not the usual? For example, people love to state that Islam says to kill women for being raped. Nope, because Islam says to stone the rapist and leave the victim alone. What do you think?

I never understood that law myself, becuase in the Quran that's about a woman' who's husband is accusing her of adultery. It's the husband's job to produce four witnesses against her, and if he can not, he must be quiet.

Did you know that a Man came to the Prophet (PBUH) seeking his advice about whom he should please in this world so Allah would fogive him:
PBUH: Your Mother
Man: Then who?
PBUH: Your Mother
Man: Then who?
PBUH: Your Mother
Man: Then who?
PBUH: Your Father.
The prophet said "Your Mother" three times before saying "Your Father" which shows the importance of a Mother in Islam.
Another story: Few Muslims came to the Prophet (PBUH) when he was sitting in his Masjid (mosque) and said: Muhammad, please help us, there's one of your followers who is sick and suffering, he neither is getting better or dying, he is crying in pain, what should we do? The prophet said: Is his Mother alive? The men were surprised of the question and yet answered that she WAS alive. He said: bring her to me. When the mother came to the Prophet, he asked her: Are you the mother of (and he said the name of the man), and she said: yes. He said: How is your relationship with him? She said: He is not a good son, he does this and that and does not listen to me (and bla bla bla bla). Then he said: Your son is dying now, will you forgive him? She said in pain: Yes I do. Then when the men went to that man who was dying, they actually found him dead. PBUH then explained: If a mother is not happy with her son because he is diobedient and she curses him, Allah does not forgive him till she does, and that's what happened in this story.

Yes, thank you.
NewCatholic. You are not correct on any of your points.
Four witnesses need to be produced when accusing someone (male or female) of unchaste behavior. Get your facts straight.
The punishment for adultery is the same for men and women.
The woman in England was not in love with a non-Muslim, she was in love with a Muslim. The murdering of her is not condoned in Islam. IF she was living under shariah law, which she wasn't, any punishment is NOT the rights of her father or any family member. If she was accused of being unchaste there would of had to be 4 witnesses to prove she was unchaste and punishment, if any (as Allah's mercy is greater than His wrath), can only be carried out by the ruling government. They also have the right to pardon the woman or man.

Well in my husband's country and from what we know the father has more rights to the children then the mother. In his country and from what we were taught the father gets automatic custody of the children in the event of a divorce and if the father dies then the custody of the children goes to the father's parents. If the parents of the father die then the custody goes to the oldest uncle. His country is Saudi Arabia. The reason for this is because the stepfather might rape or sexually abuse the daughters and might neglect or physically abuse the father's children.

Few people know that the writings of Mohammed were heavily influenced by his first wife who he adored greatly. He thought very highly of women and respected their intelligence. During his time women were very poorly treated and thought of. Even the idea of having multiple wives was put in place to protect women.

I think you are not asking a question and that no matter how much you say it, it does not make it true.
What about the part where a woman has to produce 4 male eye-witnesses to prove she has been raped?
Or that part where a woman gets buried in sand up to her neck and stoned for adultery and if she gets out, she will not be killed, but a man only gets buried to his waist?
I could go on and on and on and on.......
Good Luck!
P.S. why would God put a seal on anyones heart, God wants us ALL to love him and live within his Grace and follow His law, God does not keep us from him, or "Seal" anyones heart from him, just another sign of what is wrong with Islam.
Not that all Muslims are bad, just misled.......
P.S. you might ask that Muslim young woman in England, her father and brother killed her because they thought she was in love with a non-Muslim man, how many rights she enjoyed.
