You will have people tell you to take Imodium. Strange drug this one.... whilst it is marketed to stop diarrhea, no one seems to stop and ask how? Basically, it prevents the bowel from its normal peristaltic movement and if enough is taken it will actually 'paralyze' the bowel for a short period of time. In infants this can kill and in adults, it can cause painful gripes. Let us not forget you have diarrhea for a reason...
Go natural at first. Try natural BIO yogurt, two or three cartons of it and wait. In the meantime drink plenty of water, you will be dehydrated. If there has been no affect after 24 hours, and you still have diarrhea, seek medical advice, he may use Imodium, and by then that's ok, as it will be under medical supervision.

when you say diarrhea, you had had watery stools and moved your bowel so often the past few days.
First aid- drink fluids, and avoid foods that are too oily, too salty, too sweet. Avoid dairy or milk products.
If possible, have a stool examination. If you have amoebiasis, or any other types of enteritis, you will have to be treated accordingly.

1.take a glass of boil water
2.add up 2 teaspoon of sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of salt
3.stir it so both of it dissolved
It is useful to prevent dehydration and at the same time it is curing the diarrhea. It is a traditional method but really effective.^.^

Eat the B.R.A.T diet and stay away from dairy and other heavy foods. BRAT consists of bananas, rice, applesauce and toast. If it continues for too long you may want to see a physician soon to prevent dehydration.
