Science can always rationalize everything. But they cannot explain why or how it happened. There has been cases that patients have been died for a few minutes and the doctor calls the time of death and a few seconds later the patients are back to normal.
Explanation: None.
They can rationalize all they want but they still cannot prove how or why this happens. For the people go feel stigmata, any doctor can see the injuries but will not be able to say how or why it happened.

I've said this many times before: There isn't an omnipotent God, as religion suggests. The idea was conjured for many reasons; primarily for control and monetary gain. Remember The Council of Nicea is partially responsible for what is now practiced as christianity. Do your research and use your intelligence.

I am not a Christian, but I do believe in something. I was trained in college to be a scientist and I have never seen, learned, discovered, etc anything that contradicted my spiritual beliefs, only enhanced them and made me gasp in wonder at the beauty of it all.
So yes, of course our bodies behave in certain ways, neurons fire, different chemicals are released, glands and various organs react in different ways. Spirit = energy. Period. Matter is composed of energy. So, of course, spiritual experiences would have directly related material causes and effects. It's extremely logical.

Religions are established by those who want to understand. It starts as a guess then evolves into a "truth." Science hasn't changed their minds before, and I doubt it will now.
