look for another job while you have this one. then when you get it get out of there. i can only imagine how hard that would be, when no one is talking to you in your own language.

First of all, it will not surprise me if you are in New York. I would suggest to you to either be ly and learn Punjabi--its the official language of 7-11 and most liquor stores and Dunkin Donuts.

If that is not possible, then look to see about applying to another place that is more in line with what you like. Do your homework, and remember, it is much more easier finding a new job when you currently have one. Do not do anything that will put you out in the unemployment line--just be tolerant. Indians are not all that bad (maybe the curry smell is annoying after a while!!!!)

Best of luck to you. Hope this helps.

Wow. there is no such thing as INDIAN language. It's like saying Mexicans speak MEXICAN which they don't(They speak Spanish). They are probably speaking HINDI or some other dialect (they have a lot of them).

If it really bothers you , maybe you should try to ask them to speak English because you want to be included in the conversation. I am not sure how they would that though, maybe they are not as fluent in English and that's why they speak their mother language. You could also ask them to teach you some Hindi they'll have to speak to you English to teach you, so that helps them practice and it helps you feel included.

This is something that is up to you. I wouldn't leave a job just because you donut speak Hindi. I've been in plenty of situations where I don't speak the language my friends are speaking and it doesn't bother me at all. It's a personal preference I would say.

Good Luck.

You are not a bigot, just bored, so be quiet above person. Revise "Americans" to "People who speak english" because if you can work in America, then you must be "American".

Go find another job.
