How can Dawkins and Harris be converted? I've read both of Harris's books and Dr. Dawkins's "The God Delusion," and both are excellent writers and thinkers. Conversion to Christianity seems, at this point, not likely. Harris, however, appears to be, judging from his words in print, a candidate for some measure of spirituality. You know, Irreverent, people do change. Consider a famous socialist in Greenwich Village in the teens of the last century. An excellent editor of the leading socialist magazine, The Masses, and not so bad a scribber. Well, as age played its tricks he drifted to the right, and by life's end he was preaching a rabid brand of conservatism.

Barring some extremely emotionally tragic experience, that robs these men of their rational faculties, I don’t think there is any possibility of them being converted. “Rational faculties” is the operative word here. Since arguments for religious belief, are intellectually indefensible when closely examined, the only way men of Dawkins and Harris’s caliber can ever be swayed to religious belief, is if they lose the ability to utilize their rational powers, or if their rational prowess is so stifled by trepidation and sadness.

All it would take is a single piece of unambiguous evidence. A small example of the normal laws of physics being broken before their eyes, for instance.
Like me, Dawkins has said before that he'd be delighted if a deity turned out to exist after all. What a fantastic area of study!
Ain't gonna happen, alas. There's no-one there.

A prefrontal lobotomy would work. They are atheists for intellectual reasons. You'd have to convince them of christianity via intellectualism and that AIN'T gonna happen

Don't waste your time. Do something more productive. Like maybe how can we stop the ethnic cleansing in the Sudan.
