No man, angel or even God pushes a relationship with Christ on you in this relm. It really is a matter of choice. Your love is the ONLY thing that you or I posses that we can offer the creator of ALL things. Everything seen and unseen belongs to him.
Why do you think it is so difficult to come to him? The worlds wisdom is a sham it can't make people young again or bring back the dead. I am only a voice crying out in the darkness of this world. When The Lord does appear and He will you will have no excuse saying, 'No one made a strong enough or long enough appeal'. You could say I'm looking out for your best interest.

How do you know he will come...do you have proof?! I will believe in "Him" when I have legitimate proof; how about a conversation with the Big Guy?! That would be nice. Until then, until science proves him real, I will remain Agnostic. I need proof!!! Not words! I'm sorry if I offended you, but you hard-core Christians that push your religion upon everyone are annoying. I'm sick of it! I feel so bad because all my friends are Christian, and I'm afraid their families don't like me... You put too much upon religion. It should not control your life; you should learn to rely on someone other then one you cannot see. All you have is your Bible, which could be interrupted as anything you see fit. I'm sorry, once again. Please, stop trying to convert people.

That's how most people are my friend. They think you are pushy when you honestly promote your beliefs. But they accept to have pushed everyday: Taxes, ideologies, political lies, a la Hollywood mind programming, low pay, economic social separation, etc. and they do not complain.

They make Laws and then submit themselves to follow these laws as if they were Gods, See when a police would give you a brake on a ticket he is committing a great sin. Same with the money.

They learn about evolution so they know that we must also socially evolve, so it's normal to pay for education, work two jobs for a rich man to pay for college, pay for food, pay for water, don't have a job. The only religious rule they have accepted is the one day rest in the week. Silly, they could have more free time in Jesus's Kingdom.

They don't think is better when my people help you build your house then we build mine, etc.

They just like it here, They think God is going to take them somewhere else, when God and Jesus only want to fix us and the world for us.

because you keep trying to push people into a relationship that you, admittedly, have nothing to do with.

like you said, it is the individual's choice. so let them be to make their choice. you aren't looking out for anyone, you are truly pushing what you deem as right.

how would you like someone trying to push you into a relationship you didn't want to be involved in?? "that girl down the street, yeah, you should really get to know her, and then marry her, go on! don't let her obnoxious, nosy family put you off. i'm just looking out for your best interest. you seem lonely. you really need the company of a woman. if you don't you'll be miserable the rest of your life!! when that happens, don't whine that no one tried to push you into it strong enough or long enough"

Don't worry about it, friend! Jesus compared the people of his generation to being like "children sitting in the market-place and calling out to each other, 'We played the flute for you, and you did not dance. We sang a dirge, and you did not cry.' For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, 'He has a demon.' The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and you say, 'Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.' But wisdom is proved right by all her children." (Luke 7:31-35)

So just keep on lifting Jesus up by word and deed, in the market-place that is Yahoo. Those who want to scoff will scoff. Those who want to see Jesus will see Jesus.

The bible is false on many counts, and this has been proven. You want to believe in your god because that makes you feel good.

But those of us that know the truth are not swayed by your posting here.

Not believing in your god is not a matter of choice. It's a matter of education. And you are uneducated about the things that disprove the bible.

So, why do we accuse you of pushing god on anyone? Read your question again. You assume that your god is real, and that we are denying him, or hiding from him. Your god is not real, however. Therefore, your assumption is what is "pushing".

I know you dont' understand. But this is an honest answer.

Miles P don't you know that these people are never satisfied.I wished all the Christian Fathers a happy Fathers day and a God bless you yesterday.I got 19 answers,18 of those were hateful answers because I excluded them from my greeting.Had I included them they would have told me "they didn't need a blessing from god,and quit pushing my religion on them". The greeting cost me 10 points, but whose counting?it was worth it to help me better understand were they are coming from.nothing they say or do can make me feel bad or change my views on my Lord.

I am not sure what the question is but I agree with you that it is our choice,as a child of god you are doing your part the accusation is a clear example of how satan works and if people continue to let satan have a voice in their lives they will walk this earth in total darkness and with more questions than there are answers

The answer to your question is simple:

1) I do not believe in a god, the god, or any god. Period. End of story. Nothing you can do about it. Ever.

2) I do not force me beliefs on you. Ever. Period.

3) YOU on the other hand...namely the community you belong to (Christians), CONTINUALLY try to force your beliefs on me every day. Ever heard of the Blue Laws? I can't buy a car on Sunday in Illinois because of a religious law. Its YOUR god, not mine, but I STILL have to follow YOUR laws? Don't you see the problem here?

By "looking out for our best interest" you are in effect and by definition pushing your beliefs on non believers. When someone tells another, "you can be better then you are by doing what I tell you or what this book tells you" then that person is pushing beliefs on the other.Christians give no consideration to the fact that the person they are trying to convert might be happy already without having this belief. No, for them it is all about the faith and all about what the Bible says. For them everyone is wrong unless they believe. And for that, Christians are by definition people who are prone to push their beliefs onto others.Your "appeal" is your push.

And here we are again thinking that everything you say or believe is the absolute truth. It exists in your mind, no where else, and why should I listen to or believe your delusions. This is not meant as derogatory but a question. And why is it that my trying to get you to think is not in your best interest?
