What impact has the Jewish religion made on Christianity today? How can the two embrace each other and respect the contributions each has made to our world culture?

Well, seeing as how Jesus himself was a Jew and was sent to preach to them first, I would say that's a pretty significant impact!

The Jews were God's chosen people due to the promise He made Abraham- the Jews lost that privilege when they "rejected the cornerstone"- Jesus- as a whole.

Thankfully, God has fulfilled that promise to Abraham that "all nations" would bless themselves on account of his name because the message that Jesus brought to the Jews- that of God's Kingdom and the hope that it holds out to faithful mankind- was opened up to Gentiles as well.

The Jewish religion can teach us much about the beginnings of Christianity, as well as give us insight into the Bible- when it was written, the culture that surrounded it, even the physical areas that it describes, it all become more REAL if we have a knowledge of ancient Jewish culture, history and society.

I am all for religious tolerance- I think that everyone should respect everyone else, as Jesus commanded while on Earth. However, since we are all imperfect people, there will bigots and fools until God takes His final action at Armageddon.

Until then, I appreciate learning about the Jewish religion and always appreciate having stimulating dialect with ANYONE, be it Jewish, Muslim, Atheist, etc. etc.

wish I had time today to go into more detail on this one, but in a nutshell, the christian "bible" was a translation of the Jewish "Tora" ordered by King James. While it is a close translation, the "court" of King James used a language different than that of the "ordinary people" hence some errors where made. In example, The commandment we use of " thou shalt not kill" was a miss translation, it really reads "thou shalt not commit murder". As you can see, a large difference in the actual meaning.
There are many more comparisons between the two religions, again, wish I had more time to cover it today.

confident and No on your question on whether or no longer they worship the comparable God or no longer. confident- via fact they say right here characteristics of God: the single and easily, unique, suitable, all encompassing being who has neither a beginning up nor an end. He can not be considered or felt via the 5 senses. No- via fact they upload different characteristics to Him after that that separates the religions from one yet another. Christians think of God grew to advance into flesh, Jews think of God is gonna deliver a King, and Muslims think of God is already accomplished giving us orders.

The entirety of Jesus' ministry was his commentary on the Jewish Torah. Christian values are Jesus' interpretations of Hewbrew traditions. Christians quite literally owe everything to on particular Jew's (Jesus') views on his religion.

judaism and christianity are similar! we both believe in what the old testament says! however, we differ when it comes to the new testament! jews do not believe that Jesus was the messiah, the son of God, etc but christians do. and the new testament is about Jesus preaching and his crucification, etc. so thats how they are different. some Jews do belive in Jesus being the messiah tho! but not most!

Jesus was the Jewish massiah. with out the Jewish faith there would have been no Jesus (Christ). Christians take the Jewish scriptures as theirs and accept Jesus as their savior.
