If the scientist only would read the Ancient Vedas they wouldn't have to work so hard day and night like a$$es trying to figure out things that are already written thousands of years ago. They simply have no faith. Thank your for the links. I will save the photos. Those rascals. They are less intelligent. WHO the heck is Adam anyway. Rama's pass time exists forever. Somewhere now that pastime is going on in some universe. Hanumana ji is now heading up the crew of Monkey servants of Rama to build the bridge to Lanka on another earth planet. These passtimes are eternal. Even the bridge still stands. Such a miracle. That bridge proves Humans where way more intelligent even 17,500 years ago. Even Monkeys where more intelligent back then what to speak of humans. lOl. Keep spreading the word. Jaya Sri Rama Jaya Hanuman.

Money dear Money. Big projects bring big money for politicians and so they do not care about the importance of Ram Setu. We still do not know whether that is actually the bridge made by Ram and his army but it is a bio diversity hot spot and should be saved.

Archeologists are not sure if todays Sri Lanka is the Ravan's lanka or was it a part of India and actual Lanka as per Ramayana is some where further. Present Shiva Temple at Rameshwaram is around 1500 yrs old and very modern compared to date of Ramayana.

People who have written about Sri Lanka are still not sure where it was and have given diffrent regions as per discription in Ramayana, Ravan Sanhita and other scriptures and this ranges from todays Sri Lanka to Indonesia, Bali, Madhya Prades and even Orissa region.

But, actual Ram Setu or not it should be saved since it is one of most important Bio Diversity hot spot and also since noe it is well known that sea level around 7000 to 10000 yrs was much lower than todays so may be in excavation we will be able to gather some important evidence of human society and its development.

Because there are many persons who do not want Hinduism proofs like Ramanaya actually existed .
In the past we had Rakshasas who had banned the prayer of Gods especially Vishnu. Today these Rakshasas are the mordern politicians etc who are the corrupted people .
Do not worry . Hinduism existed when heavy blows where imparted on it in the past and today.
God Vishnu will always take birth whenever there is decay in Hinduism or the evil persons damage the Hinduism image over the limit. Else one part of God will take birth as we had philosophers like Sanakarcharay the first one, Swami Vivekanand and so on.
Hindu people's faith should be strong and if Hindus come together then nothing can happen . Go to the media which is important today.

I think the opposition to the project on Religious grounds is absurd.Tuticorin(Tootthukkudi) harbour will become an important port and the ships need not take a long route around Srilanka. The hinderland of Tuticorin port -Sahupuram(srivaikuntam),kovilpatti,Virudhunagar,Sivakasi,Rajapalayam,Thaiyuthu-all will have tremendous Industrial developement and give job oppurtunities to thosands of youngsters-Especially when .I.T Industry is booming and there is a proposal to set up an I.T,Park near Tuticorin. This Ramasethu is all political game (Sahupuram,kovilpatti,Virudhunagar,Sivakasi,Rajapalayam,Thaiyuthu-is missing)

There are the hands of some unknown force that opposes this religion and don't want the proof of hinduism's existance to be preserved. This act is outrageous and I support you in my struggle for gaining the basic rights for a Hindu religion culture to exist in this world.

Remembrance of Lord's pastimes through the various things he has left is more important than an useless and directionless material development.

So, it is foolish to demolish that and if they will demolish,
Krishna knows how to deal with them.

Hare Krishna

Yes I agree with you. But even in the scientific point of view it is useless as they have to dreg it again and again as the water currents naturally accumulate sand in that place and thus it will again become shallow. And Gulf of Mannar is only one of the five\six biosphere hotsots in India. It affects natural habitat of many creatures as oil spill can prove disastorous.
