why should we comply with each law when offering services?

Because it is the right thing to do. If we don't comply with the laws, or pick and choose which law we like then we are no differant than the people we are offering services too.

Doing the right thing is HARD!

because laws (or so we are told) are what keeps civilisation going, and 'protects' us all.

But then again, that's thegovernment's opinion, and when did anyone ever listen to them?
