Ask her on a scale of 1 - 10 how bad it hurts. If you have to, draw a smiley face at one and work your way to 10 with a crying, frowning face if she's not old enough to really understand the 1 - 10 system.

Find out exactly where her stomach hurts. Have her point. Does she have any pets or siblings that may have hit her abdomen?

Ask her if it feels like she needs to throw up or use the bathroom.

Keep an eye on it and when in doubt call your doctor. It could be anything from merely gas to appendicitis to a bruise.

Best of luck and I hope your girl feels better soon!

Where does it hurt on the tummy?

On a scale form 1-10 with one being no pain at all and 10 being the worst pain you've ever had. Whats her pain?

How old is she?
